HEMP (SATIVA)
SATIVA
Sativa dominant hemp plants are often considered polar opposites of the Indica hemp strains, and tend to grow much larger than indicas. You can usually identify a sativa hemp plant by it’s large but thin leaves, much more narrow than indica leaves.
Sativa strains take longer to harvest than Indica, typically taking 12+ weeks, versus Indica’s 9+ week flowering period. Because of where Sativa plants originate, they often require much more light than their indica counterparts.
